Spicy Carrot Kraut

Full of Fermented superfoods, this recipe is the perfect garnish for eggs, salads, curries and more!

Ingredients:

4 Carrots

1 Bulb Garlic

1 Shallot

1 Lrg Ginger Root

1 Lrg Turmeric Root

Apple Cider Vinegar

Filtered Water

Lrg Pinch Salt

Note: (Quantities of Above Ingredients May Vary Depending on Desired Taste and Jar Size)

 

Instructions:

Grate or Thinly Slice Solid Ingredients

Press Into Jar, Leaving at Least and Inch at Top for Fermentation Gases 

Cover with 50% ACV and 50% Filtered Water (make sure top of ingredients are covered)

Add a Pinch of Salt

Screw on Lid and Place in Dark Cupboard for 1 wk
