Fermented/ Pickled Foods:

When foods are fermented toxins such as phytates are inhibited and life-giving nutrients are readily available. This is exciting when you consider foods like ginger, garlic, and turmeric, which are already extremely healthy.

These pickled sweet peppers with garlic are a wonderful mix of spicy and sweet and are ridiculously easy to make.


Mini Sweet Peppers (approx 8 or however many fits in the jar)

3-6 Cloves Garlic 

1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

Pinch Salt


Halve Mini Peppers, Removing Stems and Seeds

Halve and Peel Garlic Cloves

Place in Canning Jar with Apple Cider Vinegar and Salt

Cover with Pure Water

Let Ferment in Dark Cabinet for Approx 1 Wk
