Gotta Have! Protein Donuts

Fat-Free (yes you read that right!!), sugar-free and delicious!!!!

These donuts are delicious and wonderfully easy to make!

So go ahead, eat the whole batch! We won't tell and neither will your waistline!

Ingredients:

1 cup ground chickpeas

1/2 cup oat flour + 1/3 cup if mixture appears too thin

1/2 cup protein powder

1tsp baking powder

1tsp baking soda

2 egg whites

3 Tbsp maple syrup

4 Tbsp apple sauce

1/2 cup oat milk

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp ginger

Caramel Glaze

 

Instructions:

Preheat oven 325

Grind 1 can chickpeas (or 2 cups soaked and sprouted) in the food processor. 

Add 1 cup ground chickpeas and remaining ingredients (minus oil spray and  caramel glaze) into Blendtec and blend until smooth

Spray silicone donut mold with oil

Pour donut mixture into molds

Bake 15 min

Allow to Cool

Frost with Caramel Glaze
